Man its hot today in Bali! On my porch, with the sun blazing and the humidity building this morning, I knew it was going to be a cooker.
After a session at an internet cafe, I had to come home for a wash, constant sweating taking a toll after a while. During the humid wet season, which is late coming this year, you’re looking at 3 showers a day.
Right now it 31C, but feels like 36C. Stand out in the sun for 5 minutes and it will feel like 46C. If I was coming to Bali without an accommodation booking, I’d start looking at places with AC. Before the month of October, you don’t really need AC, in my opinion, but when the humidity kicks in, it all changes. A sunhat, shades and a very light polyester shirt will work the best. Cotton is a ‘heat blanket’ and will make you hotter.
