This evening I went to dinner with my friend Darvis, and his daughter Rilka. Darvis makes some lovely painted postcards and posters, Rilka has just moved back to Britain, after 6 years in Germany. Both are linguists, and tonight Darvis got a chance to roll out his Italian, at Warung Italia, located on Jl. Arjuna at Blue Ocean Beach.
Warung Italia started out on Jl. Kunta a while back, as a budget Italian place favoured by expats. The place had doubled in size, and now Warung Italia has expanded to include the restaurant at Komala Pantai.
The atmosphere is very relaxing with the tall trees, crashing waves and cool lighting. Staff are attentive and the manager, from Italy, is all over it, as far as the service. My main course was ravioli for 23,000rp. Not bad at all for a beach front restaurant. I’m no linguist at all, and find it hard enough to read the menu, which was extensive.
Here are some of the options for Pizza,Indonesian, traditional items, Pasta, Dolci.
Warung Italia makes a great budget option, with good service a food.
