Universal Studios Japan has officially opening an new Attack on Titan attraction on Friday which brings the popular Titan and Anime series to grisly life. Running until May 10th, 2015, you can see a towering pair of Titan statues, depicting a battle between Eren Titan and the Female Titan which are around 15 metres (49 feet) tall plus lots of other cool things.
There is also a “Clonoid” exhibit of Wit Studio’s (makers of Attack on Titan) works which features the series main characters in chilling wax construction. You can also meet Clonoids Levi, Mikasa and Armin. Clonoids are human forms created through a human regeneration technology.
Be sure to complete the experience at the food stand sells Survey Corps ration packs with, you guess it, bread, a potato, piece of bacon, and bean soup. Priced at 1,100 yen (about $9), reviews around the web say it is pretty good and the paper bag with Survey Corps logo is a keeper for the die-hard fan.
You can even lineup and have a photo taken with yourself in a fist of a hungry Titan, drool and all.
Attack on Titan started life as a manga comic book series in 2009, with the anime series proving popular around the world. Depicted as a grim world in which mankind hides inside walled cities, in fear that the gigantic humanoid Titans will break through and devour them.
