Even better, one egg is free per guest!
Meals are elegantly presented kaiseki seasonal dishes that feature Fukui seafood. Snow crab (zuwaigani in Japanese) is one of the top foods the Awara Onsen is famous for.

The natural onsen baths are the highlight of the hotel, and facilities vary for men and women. There are indoor and open-air baths in both and they also have a neburo in the open-air section, which is a kind of shallow bath that you can lie down and relax in. The neburo is so relaxing many fall asleep in it! For guests who wish to bath and relax with a bit more privacy, the ryokan also offers rooms with private baths. The size and shapes of these private baths differ between rooms and offer families and couples more time to relax together.

The overall effect is a high-class salon, with places to relax, a cosmetics corner in the women’s section, and multiple indoor and outdoor baths. Relax in waters of different temperatures or try the different Jacuzzi pools. You can also visit the onsen hot springs and restaurant on one of several day plan packages if you are not staying at the hotel.
