The Kerama Islands are located just 30km west of Naha City. 4 of the 22 Kerama Islands are inhabited, Tokashiki Island, Zamami Island, Aka Island, and Geruma Island. Across the islands there are more than 70 dive sites within easy reach from Zamami or Aka-jima. The waters around the islands are very calm offering easy diving and snorkelling sites with visibility often exceeding 30 metres. The variety of dive sites around the Kerama islands almost guarantee super diving for all skill levels with reasonably shallow, coral rich sites teeming with fish for the beginner, superb drift diving, caves and pinnacles for the more adventurous.
