Fun for fruit lovers of all ages, the Okinawa Fruits Land フルーツらんど is a charming theme park pays homage to all sorts of tropical fruits, including ones that you probably have never heard of. It has recently been remodeled to include colorful and whimsical little houses sprinkled throughout the grounds that are sure to appeal to the youngest family members.
Okinawa Fruits Land Entrance
There is a bird house full of brightly colored tropical birds which you can see up close, and a butterfly house as well. Be sure to check out the interactive computer quizzes located along the paths which test your knowledge of plants. Pick up a stamp card and collect a different stamp at various stops along the way. This is a fun souvenir of your trip and is very entertaining for children.
Okinawa Fruits Land Greenhouse

Okinawa Fruits Land has a café which features parfaits, smoothies, and other treats celebrating the fruits growing there. There is also a restaurant of traditional Okinawan foods and a gift shop filled with souvenirs. The grounds are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

It is open year round from 9 am to 6 pm. Adults cost 1000 yen and children from 4 years old through junior high school cost 500 yen to enter.

Access is easiest by car or tour bus. However, it can be reached by taking the highway bus #110 or bus #120 from Naha to the Nago bus terminal. Transfer to bus #70 or #76, and get off at the Sakura Daigaku-mae stop.
