The 4-Star Okinawa Miyako Hotel is an older but well-maintained facility in the hills overlooking Naha. Those wanting an incredible view should opt for the upper floors. The location is a bit removed from the heart of the city, about 30 minutes from Kokusai-dori, and closer in the other direction to Shuri Castle if you walk. This makes is a quieter choice for a traveler not interested in being close to the night life.

The hotel is well set up for families, with family room and premium twin room options for those with children, as well as semi-doubles for couple or single travelers.The staff speaks good English and is very attentive to customer needs. Unfortunately there is no internet access in the rooms, though there are computers and internet access in the lobby, so this is not the best choice for the business traveller.
