Cross Hotel Sapporo is a very new and hip 5-star designer hotel in Sapporo, Hokkaido, with original artwork throughout. It features a 18th floor rooftop onsen and spa with a great view of the city skyline, what a way to relax after a day of exploring Sapporo! Admission to the onsen is included in the stay, this was a great bonus we appreciated.

All 181 rooms in the hotel are large by Japanese standards and well appointed with very comfortable beds and pillows. Quite a few people say it was the most comfortable sleep they have had in a hotel in Japan. Air-conditioning is standard and there is a LCD TV with quite a few free channels, even movie channels without charge.

The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Sapporo Clock Tower and Sapporo TV Tower and 15 minutes away by foot from the lively Susukino entertainment district which goes non-stop until the early morning.
