The Joel Robuchon Restaurant in looks as if a French palace were dropped amid the skyscrapers of Tokyo. The interior is just as luxurious, with black-clothed tables spaced decorously in a room of gold paneling and sparkly chandeliers. It is the epitome of French dining, though many dishes include local ingredients. It boasts a coveted Michelin 3-star award, and the meals continue to be of the highest quality.
Reservations are required three days in advance. There is lunch service from 11:30 am to last seating at 2 pm on weekdays. Lunch starts at noon on weekends and holidays. Dinner is from 6 pm to a last seating at 9:30 pm.
Men are requested to wear jackets and children must be over elementary school age. All seats are non-smoking. Meals are expensive, starting at 6000 yen for lunch or 22,500 yen for dinner. However, this is a dining experience you will long remember.
The restaurant is located in the Yebesu Garden Place, only a few minutes from the JR Ebisu Station.
