Universal Studios Japan/ Waterworld set
Tucked between Jurassic Park and Amity village in Universal Studios Osaka is a small theme area called Waterworld, based around a show of the same name. There are no services such as shops or restaurants, only one bathroom near the entrance.
The show is an action-packed production lasting about 20 minutes. The setting is the marine base from the movie Waterworld, a futuristic industrial area with jutting beams and draped netting. Watch the actors recreate dramatic scenes on motor boats and jet boats, leaping and circling through explosions and jets of fire and smoke. The action is intense and continuous, leaving spectators breathless! The audience may be hit by splashing water, to avoid this, stay further away from the stage area.

Express Pass seating is available. All ages are welcome to watch the performance, though very young children may be scared by the loud noises and sudden special effects. The action is spectacular to see, even if you are not familiar with the movie.
