Backdraft Show Universal Studios Japan
The movie Backdraft inspired this show located in a warehouse next to the Dragon’s Pearl Restaurant in Chinatown area of USJ San Francisco. Full of dramatic special effects, the audience is subjected to the excitement and fear of watching the place catch fire around them. Drums explode, flames roar, falling beams crash to the floor. The 20-minute show is quite lifelike. Watch out because you will likely be splashed with water, too.

All ages are permitted into the show, but it is not recommended for those with heart, neck or back problems, or women who are pregnant. People with sensitive skin or respiratory problems might have issues with the heat and smoke. Small children will likely be scared by the fire and loud noises, so consider carefully before taking the whole family. The theater seats about 200 people.
