A princess in a crystal asks for your help, so you decide to go on an adventure to save the dying sun! The Space Fantasy Ride in Universal Studios Japan is a 10-minute roller coaster ride packed with special effects, from dodging asteroids to entering the sun itself. Four riders are seated in two pairs which are back to back, per car. The cars themselves are rounded with glowing lights and eye-like shapes. They spin and turn, rise and fall, start and stop as they move along the track. There are bright flashes and loud noises as you travel through the solar system.
Because of the motion, all passengers must be able to sit stably and hold onto the handlebar while moving. People with neck, heart, and back problems should not ride. Pregnant women, newborns, and people with casts are not permitted. There is a minimum height restriction of 122 cm (about 48 inches), or 102 cm (about 40 inches) for those riding with a guardian. The Express Pass option is available for this ride, which often has long lines. It is a good choice for the adventurous visitor seeking a thrilling ride, including older children who meet the safety requirements.
