The Sesame Street 4D Movie Magic Show production in Universal Studios Japan is a 3D movie with added effects to involve all the senses: smells, bubbles, sounds, dust and seat movement. The plot is a loose connection of favorite Sesame Street Characters such as The Count, Grover, and Elmo, taking the audience on a series of imaginative adventures. The 25-minute show includes diving into the sea and flying through the sky.
All ages are welcome, but due to the movement of the seats, must be able to sit unassisted. People with neck, back, and heart problems are warned not to ride, as are pregnant women and newborns. The audience gets splashed with water and exposed to smells, so those with sensitive skin or respiratory conditions should be careful. Despite the warnings, this is a fun movie with popular characters, so often there is a line and the Express Pass is suggested.

The show dialog is all in Japanese, which should be taken into consideration when deciding to attend. If your children enjoy Sesame Street and do not mind imagining the plot, this is a good choice. If they will be frustrated by not being able to understand, try visiting the Universal Wonderland attraction area instead.
