Inside DisneySea itself is a boutique hotel where guests can stay, with incredible views overlooking the park and a special entrance permitting access 20 minutes earlier than the average visitor. The Hotel MiraCosta is set within the Mediterranean Harbor theme area, and blends in beautifully with luxury details fitting of a high-class European hotel.
The theme is less overtly Disney than some resort hotels, though there are details such as MickeyAngelo Gifts, which sells Disney items as well as more regular hotel amenities and MiraCosta souvenirs. There are two elegant restaurants, one with Mediterranean food and the other Chinese, and the Bellavista Lounge for lighter fare and drinks. Enjoy the indoor or outdoor pools, and the spa with jacuzzi, sauna, and gym.
The prices are high, starting at ¥35,000 and ranging up to ¥500,000 for the penthouse suite, but the service and convenience are highly recommended as worth it. Staff has limited English, but communicate effectively. Enjoy lounging on your private balcony overlooking the harbor while taking a break from visiting attractions, and you, too may see the appeal of this exquisite facility.
