Ariel’s Greeting Grotto at DisneySea Japan
Sitting in her mermaid form in a shell next to a waterfall, you can find Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid waiting to smile and have her picture taken with guests. There is a rigid policy of one photograph taken per party, but additional ones are available for a fee from a professional photographer. You can pick up the photo in its special frame at Grotto Photo and Gifts, conveniently located next to the photo area. Fans can find many other souvenirs with Ariel themes in the shop.

Ariel’s Greeting Grotto in Mermaid Lagoon at DisneySea Japan is open from 9 am to 6 pm, though hours may vary. Lines tend to be long, so try visiting early or near the closing time. Be aware that if there are long lines, you may miss your chance for a photo if you postpone the visit until too late in the day.
