Jasmines’ Flying Carpets Ride at DisneySea
Take a ride on a flying carpet above Jasmine’s garden from the movie Aladdin at the Arabian Coast area in DisneySea. Though structured like a traditional carnival ride where sixteen carpets circle a center axis on different arms, the details make the attraction special. You control the carpet, which holds up to four people, making it go up and down, or tilt forward and back. The hub is a fountain with a peacock-shaped top that is especially beautiful when lit up with different color sequences at night.

Passengers must be able to sit stably, and children are not allowed to ride in a parents lap. However, that is the only boarding restriction, so this ride is an excellent choice for the whole family to enjoy together. There is even a special viewing deck on one of the buildings surrounding the garden so family and friends can have a great view and take photographs. The ride lasts a minute and a half, and the maximum height is 5 meters (about 16.5 feet).
