The Legend of Mythica Spectacle show at Tokyo Disney Sea
There are not adequate words to describe the amazing musical performance called The Legend of Mythica. There is a rather convoluted story line that mythical creatures such as hydra, unicorns, and phoenix are real, and that they used to live peacefully with humans. Over time the relations grew strained, and required the aid of Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, and friends to bring harmony back into the world. This story is told on a grand scale with a dazzling array of special effects and vibrant music with strong drum themes.

Live dancers, animatronic figures, and costumed characters perform aboard a variety of watercraft such as a floating stage and jet boats in the Mediterranean Harbor. Four 70-feet long barges carrying huge mythological creatures bring the show to its climax.
This incredible show occurs once a day and can be seen from all over Mediterranean Harbor. There is so much detail and activity that it almost seems like a different show when viewed from a new vantage point. The 25-minute show may be canceled due to inclement weather. The Venetian Gondolas and Transit Steamer line do not run while the show is being set up or performed. This show is exciting, though may be hard to follow, but is fun for the whole family and should not be missed on a visit to DisneySea.
