A small waterway runs the length of the Arabian Coast at Tokyo DisneySea, which has opulent, dome-topped buildings, a plaza surrounded by arcades, mosaics, and palm trees. You feel like you are strolling through a scene from the movie Aladdin, which has influence throughout this theme area. The attractions form a loose row, though there are shops and alleys between. The choices are all perfect for smaller children: Jasmine’s Flying Carpets, Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage, and the amazing two-story Caravan Carousel. A family can take the rides together. Jasmine’s Flying Carpets also has a viewing platform which is perfect for parents to watch and photograph from the side.
Try the tandoori chicken or curry at the Casbah Food Court, which is a counter service restaurant with seating for 850, for a relaxing break when visiting the Arabian Coast. Though teenagers might find this section of the park tame, the atmosphere is fun, especially for fans of Aladdin.
