The Metropolis of Tokyo offers guided tour services by Tokyo sightseeing volunteers to overseas travelers so they can experience the charm of Tokyo.
The tour guides speak English, Chinese, Korean, German, French, Italian, or Spanish, and they will take you to various attractive spots in Tokyo (for free!). There are a few with nominal charges but they are all a great deal. Some free guided tours include Strolling in Gardens and Experiencing a Tea Ceremony, Exploring the Streets of Harajuku and its Shrine, A town of Sumo with the Atmosphere of Edo and over seven other cool itineraries.
Guided Tour days and time: 1:00 p.m. on Monday – Friday (no tour offered on national holidays and during year-end/new year period)
*Morning tour (10:00 a.m.) also available for route 2, 8, and 9
