The evil Emperor Zurg has stolen all the batteries from the toys! Join Buzz Lightyear and the Space Rangers from the Toy Story movies to save the universe in Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters in Tomorrowland. Up to three people can sit in each space cruiser, which runs on a track through various fluorescent scenes. You can rotate the cruiser in a circle with a lever.

Each cruiser has two Astro Blaster guns which you can aim at targets and collect points.   The smaller the target, the larger the number of points you get. You can also hit the same target more than once. The Astro Blasters do not have the best aim, but it is still fun to try to get a high score. The total is shown on a screen in the cruiser, and at the end of the four minute ride, you can compare your score with those of other passengers. There is no prize, but you might have fun setting one such as a special treat if different family members or friends sit in different cruisers.

For a more sedate experience, you do not need to use the guns or rotate the cruiser, and you can still enjoy the bright, detailed scenes. This attraction usually has long lines, but they move fairly quickly. There is also a FastPass option.
