Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Tokyo Disneyland
Take the shuttlecraft “Star Speeder” on a voyage to the planet Endor in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue in Tomorrowland. But beware, the trip might not go as smoothly as planned. There are over 50 possible combinations of plots to the story, selected from a bank of scenarios, so you can see new things when you ride. 3D film effects are combined with the seating area, which moves in time with the visuals, making very convincing renditions of flying through space, dodging through an asteroid storm, and meeting characters from the Star Wars film series.
Each shuttlecraft holds 40 people, and the movement can sometimes be quite extreme, making the ride inappropriate for young children. There are several restrictions, including a 102 cm (42 inch) height minimum, and seat belts are a must. Currently the ride is closed for renovations.
