Tom Sawyer Island Rafts at Tokyo Disneyland
Take a 2-minute ride on a log raft to Tom Sawyer Island, where adventure waits! Enjoy wandering through a cave maze, climb a treehouse, or cross one of the swaying bridges. If you prefer less activity, you can relax in Fort Sam Clemens. There is one restaurant on the island, The Canteen, which is a counter selling various snacks, so you can take a break between activities. Try the melon milkshake, a favorite choice of Japanese visitors.
You can spend as much time on Tom Sawyer’s Island as you wish, and plan on a long time for younger children, for whom it is a perfect fit. The rafts operate from one hour after the park opens until dusk, so plan your visit accordingly. Be sure to get an “Explorer’s Map” when you arrive on the island. Not only is it useful for navigating, as it is written in both English and Japanese, but it also makes a fun souvenir.
