Animatronic bears singing country songs in Japanese may seem a little strange, but the Country Bear Theater in Westernland at Tokyo Disneyland it is a lively and popular show sure to please the whole family. Younger kids will delight in the jamboree banjo music, and parents can marvel at the complicated stage mechanisms that raise and lower characters, change scenes on the multiple stage areas, and operate the animals themselves. You can also laugh at the sideline stuffed animal head on the wall who join in with the show.
Though most of the songs have been translated into Japanese, there are some in English. The show is so popular that there are now three versions. Each one lasts about 15 minutes, so take some time to relax out of the sunshine and enjoy the entertainment. The theater seats 306 people. Flash photos are prohibited.
