Westernland Shootin’ Gallery
Try your hand at shooting one of the 19 replica Winchester rifles at the Westernland Shootin’ Gallery at Tokyo Disneyland. The targets are a fun display that react when hit with the infrared laser beam, jumping and spinning and letting everyone around know that you were successful!
The price is 200 yen for 10 shots. Upon completion, you get a score card with Goofy saying a special message. This can be a fun souvenir, being written in both English and Japanese. If your card also says “lucky” you win a gold sheriff’s badge with Donald Duck’s face. A score of perfect ten shots wins you a silver sheriff’s badge. Because the “lucky” message is only in Japanese, you might want to ask. The designs of the score cards and badges may change to reflect different events at the park.
Here is a really amusing video where a Japanese tv talk show visits the gallery and then in typical show style end up eating lots of good food. Japanese tvshows are very cool!
Passport tickets are not accepted at the Westernland Shootin’ Gallery, which can be a challenge for unstable younger hands, so this attraction might be better for older children.
