Western River Railroad
Take a trip back through time on the Western River Railroad, a steam train that winds its way through various sections of the park, including Adventureland, Critter Country, and Westernland. Enjoy green forests, and catch glimpses of cabins and deer, an Indian village, and Mark Twain’s steamboat on this pleasant 15-minute journey. The final prehistoric tunnel even takes you past dinosaurs!
With a gentle pace and no extreme level or speed changes, this ride is a good choice for all ages. Each train seats 140 people, and though the announcer only explains things in Japanese, these are not crucial for appreciating the scenery and dioramas around the train. No flash photos are allowed in the final tunnel.
