Showbase
A large indoor venue, Showbase in Tokyo Disney land performances feature the history of Disney and its characters. It is located in Tomorrowland to the right of World Bazaar as you enter the park. These shows are usually the most popular at the park, and though they rotate, some have had a running time of several years.
The current production is “One Man’s Dream II – The Magic Lives On.” Starting in black and white, it rapidly changes to color and follows the progress of Disney animation, full of its magic and dreams. See Peter Pan fly overhead, watch Cinderella’s ball, laugh at the Bug’s Life circus. Show tickets are free, but because of its popularity, all but the first performance are awarded by lottery. The first performance is seated on a first-come, first-served basis. The show runs about 30 minutes, and children under three must sit on a parent’s lap.
