The New Orleans French Quarter and exotic South Seas theme make up two parts of Adventureland. The area can be reached through the World Bazaar, the Hub, or Westernland. The transition from the latter is not marked, so you may even find that you have crossed the border without noticing.
The French Quarter is full of ornate ironwork facades and intricate buildings, whereas the jungle section has abundant, rich foliage and water everywhere, including many waterfalls and rivers. Waiting areas for the attractions are mostly covered due to the variable weather, but most are attractively decorated in theme. Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise, both very popular attractions, are in Adventureland, so this area is often very busy.
The Blue Bayou is an elegant dining choice in the French Quarter, and Polynesian Terrace is a wildly popular restaurant featuring live stage shows. If you want to eat at the latter, make reservations as early as possible because it is frequently completely booked. If you prefer something lighter, try one of the crepes at Cafe Orleans
