Restaurant Hokusai
Located in about the middle of the right side as you enter Tokyo Disneyland‘s World Bazaar from the main entrance, you will find Restaurant Hokusai. Named for one of the most famous ukiyo-e print artists, Hokusai’s woodblock prints influenced many turn-of-the century artists around the world. It may seem strange to step from the Americana-themed World Bazaar into this table-service restaurant that seats 270 people decorated with Hokusai prints and other Japanese touches, but the food is worth the visit.
The menu has many classic Japanese dishes, including “set” meals that include a variety of items, such as tempura, miso soup, and soba noodles. The offerings are more mainstream than many you might find in small restaurants around Tokyo, so it is a good place to try local food if you are not very adventurous about tastes. There is a children’s menu available. The restaurant is popular, so it is a good idea to make reservations when you arrive at the park.
