The operator already has branches in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Maldives, Mozambique, Qatar, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
The design of the new five-star hotel will follow the operator’s model of creating a resort that is “indigenously rooted in its destination” and “colored by its geographic region”. The plans for the resort blend the best of traditional Lao design and French Colonial architecture.
The hotel will have over 100 rooms, 13 villas, a spa center, and a conference center. Both the developer and the governor of Luang Prabang are confident that this world-class resort will create jobs for Lao people and attract tourists from all over the world.
