If it is souvenirs you are after or even beach accessories, the best place to head is the beachfront stalls. These can be found lining the southern end of Beach Road and sell a range of accessories and clothing as well as CDs and DVDs. They open every day until late at night.
The small lanes running off Beach Road are home to tailors, gift shops and cheap clothes stores. You will not find much of retail value here, but it's a great place to pick up a bargain or two.
For shopping malls and quality boutiques, the best place to head is away from the beach and into the town. Here you will find The Avenue, a trendy new mall and entertainment zone and also Central Festival, the largest mall in the city.

Central Festival is the largest beachside mall in Asia. It boasts over 200 stores, a supermarket, cinemas and an enormous variety of dining options. It is located between sois 7 and 9 on Pattaya Beach Road and open until 22:00 every day.
Located opposite Soi 2 on Second Road, this is a large shopping mall housing a cinema, a number of electronic shops, clothing stores and a supermarket. Like all shopping malls, it is open every day.
Found on Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya, Factory Outlet Mall is the place to visit if you are after designer labels at a low price. It is open everyday until 22:00 and is best avoided at weekends as it can get very busy.
Royal Garden Plaza can be found next to the Marriott resort and Spa Pattaya on Beach Road. It is an upmarket shopping center covering three floors and housing exquisite boutiques, a food court and Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. It is open daily, although is best visited during the week to avoid the crowds.
Pattaya has great shopping opportunities all year round; however, during the peak season, you will find the best bargains as most shops and markets want to make as much money as possible during the busy times. It is essential to bargain at the markets, yet most shopping malls will have set prices.
