This is one of the coolest videos I’ve seen in ages and gives a view of Thailand unlike any I’ve ever seen before. The incredibly clever compilation titled, Toy Thailand, was produced by Joerg Daiber and was filmed on location at various spots in Thailand including Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi (Tonsai Bay and Laem Phra Nang/Railay). Many thanks to David Lee at Go Backpacking for bringing the video to my attention.
For those of a more technical nature (not me!) the effects were achieved by using a Lumix GH2, Gorillapod and 14-140mm and 7-14mm Lenses. Final editing was carried out on a Macbook Air with Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
