Some restaurants hand out mints at the end of the meal, but not at this particular establishment in Bangkok where the mints are replaced by condoms. Cabbages and Condoms is something of a Bangkok institution and if you are visiting the Thai capital, I highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit. I’ve always found the food to be good and the picturesque garden setting with its glimmering lights and the soft accompaniment of traditional Thai music makes for a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal. It’s also one place where you’ll be sure to get lots of photo opportunities and the chance to buy some unusual souvenirs to amuse friends and family back home. In addition to enjoying an evening of sanuk, you will also be contributing to a very worthwhile cause.
