Italy serves as a fine backdrop for films, and there’s a long list of movies shot in Italy to date – but aside from George Clooney’s recent release “The American” I can’t think of another movie based in Italy coming out for awhile before that.
Which is why it’s kind of fun that right on the heels of “The American” we have “The Tourist,” starring Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, and Venice. Here’s the trailer:
