Michelin stars galore in a unique gourmet event, hosted at Ocean Restaurant, Algarve
If the kitchen is the best place to be at parties, then the Kitchen Party at VILA VITA Parc on May 9th is definitely a place you want to be. Part of the fabulous Fine Wines and Food Fair which runs from May 6th to May 10th 2015 at the award winning resort, this unique and mouth-watering event has foodies from all over the world flocking to the Algarve.
VILA VITA Parc is one of the Algarve’s premier luxury resorts, and home to the two Michelin star Ocean Restaurant. Head Chef Hans Neuner is host to the 2015 Fine Wines and Food Fair and welcomes dozens of award-winning Portuguese and international chefs listed in the Michelin Guide, World's 50 Best Restaurants, Gault et Millau and OAD (Opinionated About Dining) and around 20 wine and gourmet producers from around the world, to showcase their skill, art and products during 5 days and nights of delectable dining and gourmet graciousness in the beautiful surroundings of the resort. In all, the invited Chefs hold over 20 Michelin stars between them, making the Fine Wines and Food Fair a truly unique opportunity to enjoy their skill and mastery.
The Fair kicks off on the 6th of May with dinner with Chef Jonnie Boer, holder of 3 Michelin Stars, followed by evenings hosted by Chefs Gert de Mangeleer (3*), Chef Klaus Erfort (3*) and Chef Jacob-Jan Boerma (3*) on the 7th, 8th and 10th May respectively.
And on the 9th May its time for the Kitchen Party. This is a relaxed and fun stand up dinner concept where you get to go behind the scenes, as it were, seeing Masters of the Kitchen in action, displaying their skills at the live cooking stations and happy to interact with the guests. 20 guest chefs will be wielding their knives at the Kitchen Party, creating dishes to delight even the most demanding of tastebuds. There will be live music and DJ, cigar and chocolate lounge and a a Gin After Party.
