One of the guiding principles of the Conrad Hotels and Resorts brand is that of giving back, of bringing value, to the local communities where the Conrad flag is flown. The Conrad Algarve has taken this principle to heart…..or is that feet?
Come along to the Conrad Algarve on June 14th for 24 hours – yes, 24 hours! of non-stop dancing. From 18:00 hrs on Friday the 14th the Conrad Algarve ballroom will host a fabulous Dance-a-thon to raise funds for ACCA – a local Algarve charity helping children in need in the region (Associação de Solidariedade com as Crianças Carenciadas do Algarve).
The Dance-a-thon will get underway at 6pm on Friday with non-stop dancing until 6pm on Saturday. There will be professional dancers to help keep the rhythm, while the sounds are created by DJs Tim Fortune, João Sotto Mayor, Tim Parker and James Farby. Dancing styles run the gamut – from classic ballroom waltz, to tango, salsa, zumba, hip-hop and kizomba. And of course, lots and lots of freestyle.
There will be wine tasting, chef’s presentations, games, exhibitions and plenty of activity to keep the energy levels high for the full 24 hours of the Dance-a-thon.
So, come on - embrace your inner Astaire and shake that booty – it’s for a good cause.
Entry to the Dance-a-thon is €15 per person – which reverts in its totality to ACCA.
