Lucy The Elephant
South of the city, along the sweeping sands of Josephine Harron Park, you’ll discover a strange and surreal sight – a gigantic elephant, decorated in gold and red. This is Lucy The Elephant, a wooden structure built over a 100 years ago. Have a picnic in the surrounding park - there are plenty of tables and benches - before touring the elephant’s interior. You can't visit Atlantic City and not spend quality time along its single most iconic stretch: the famous boardwalk, which was the first of its kind in the country.
