Almost every major resort casino in Las Vegas has its own wedding chapel(s) and wedding planners who are happy to deal with all the details. Many resorts also offer packages specific to the property, so no two places have exactly the same options.
- The most popular wedding days in Las Vegas are Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
- A Special Memory Wedding Chapel, located on 4th Street in downtown Las Vegas, is home to the famous drive-thru wedding window.
- The Chapel of Flowers is one of the oldest wedding chapels in Las Vegas. It has been around for more than 50 years.
- One of the reasons why so many people get married in Las Vegas is because the requirements are fairly lenient and easy. All you need to tie the knot are proof of age (via driver’s license, passport or birth certificate), social security number (foreigners may need additional documentation) and parental consent and court order if under the age of 16.
- There is no blood test required for getting married in Las Vegas, and there is no waiting period.
