When the Las Vegas summer kicks into high gear, few things are more appealing than putting on a swimsuit, ordering an icy drink (or two) and spending the day submerged in the pool. Luckily for visitors to Sin City, there are several pools from which to choose.
But not all pools are created equal. If you’d prefer your poolside suntan served up with the hottest music mixed by on-site DJs, gorgeous people from around the world, celebrities and an area meant more for socializing than swimming, then you need to seek out a pool club (sometimes known as day clubs or party pools). Some pool clubs are known for the music, some are known for celebrity sightings and some are actually known for their pools. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect at the most popular pool clubs in Las Vegas.
Though some people don’t actually consider Azure to be a pool club, it is a 21+ venue at Palazzo with three pools meant to pamper visitors. Butlers, complimentary frozen grapes, sunscreen application and chilled towels … that pretty much sums up the rejuvenating feel of this French-inspired pool area. Dine poolside from a menu designed by Wolfgang Puck. A Sunday brunch is also available.

Bare, located at The Mirage, is contemporary and classy. Women are welcome to take a dip in a European-style swimming area, which is secluded from the other pools. A DJ spins music poolside. If the name alone doesn’t lure you to Daydream, maybe this clean, simple pool at M Resort will. Though it’s not as known for the music, celebrities or party scene, this pool has extended hours, making it possible to party long after the sun goes down. Fun, customized alcoholic drinks are made poolside by a team of mixologists.
European-inspired Encore Beach Club is one of the newest to join the Las Vegas pool club scene. Oversized lily pads, 40-foot palm trees and three tiered pools are the highlights, but if you stick around past dusk, you’ll see the area transformed into Encore’s new nightclub, Surrender.

Rehab at Hard Rock Hotel is more of a pool party than an actual pool club, but it would be a crime to leave it off this list. This pool is nearly always packed.
