Any flight leaving Las Vegas is packed with tired people carrying home empty wallets and bags of goodies they’ve purchased while shopping in Sin City. Though there are plenty of places to spend money on the Strip, word has gotten out that one of the best places to buy is the Premium Outlets center.
Some outlet malls are known to have seriously outdated products from questionable brands with markdowns that aren’t all that impressive, but that’s not the case with Premium Outlets. Locals and visitors alike flock to this open air mall to snag the best deals on name brand clothes, accessories, shoes, home goods, jewelry and more.
Highlights of the Premium Outlets include discounted offerings on designer fashion from retailers including BCBG Max Azria, Diesel, Banana Republic, Perry Ellis, J. Crew, Juicy Couture, Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. If you’re looking for shoes, look no further than Adidas, Journeys, Ecco, Nike, Puma, Sketchers, Nine West, Timberland and more than a dozen other options. One of the most popular shops at Premium Outlets is Coach, which often has a line out the door and down the sidewalk, but there are other leather retailers as well, including Kate Spade, Kipling and The Luggage Factory.
Though most people don’t think of jewelry as an outlet-type of product, there are several retailers selling fine jewelry as well as other accessories. At Premium Outlets, you’ll find the likes of Ultra Diamonds, Zales, Fossil and Guess as well as shops selling sunglasses, handbags and other accessories. And no outlet mall would be complete without a smattering of other surprises. When you shop at Premium Outlets, you’ll also find The Disney Store, Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory and Swarovski.
The Premium Outlet center is easy to navigate and opens to the outside. During the summer, you may want to carry a bottle of water with you in order to stay hydrated, but there are places to sit in the shade throughout the mall. There is also a food court where you can stop and rest.
The Premium Outlets are located north of the Strip on Charleston Boulevard. It’s too far removed from the heart of the Strip and downtown Las Vegas to walk, so you’ll need to use your rental car or take a taxi to reach it.
The mall is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Each holiday offers extended or different hours; check the website for Premium Outlets or call ahead to confirm that the mall is open.
