If you want opulence and extravagance (and, let’s face it, you are in Las Vegas so why not?), Tryst Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas is the place to be and be seen. This club is colossal; set in a gigantic hotel in one of the most monumental cities in the world, you expect luxury and excess, and Tryst does not disappoint.
This 12,000-square-foot club is one of the most enticing on The Strip; the decor consists of intense shades of red, blacks and browns with marble, velvet and sumptuous fabrics throughout. Upon arrival at Tryst, guests descend an impressive staircase into the lounge area comprising of a comfortable yet stylish seating area. It’s an area designed to allow you to compose yourself as you walk down the velvet-lined hallway that leads you to Tryst’s main room.
The first thing you are likely to notice is the 90-foot, manmade waterfall, which is the focal point of the club. The waterfall flows down a 150-foot, manmade mountain into a lagoon in the club. If you opt for the table service (and it is recommended) and are lucky, you may get a table close enough to feel some spray off the feature, which is perfect for cooling down after hours spent dancing on the open-air dance floor to the resident DJ’s mix of house, club hits and hip hop.
Tryst has two patio areas surrounding the waterfall, north and south, which are tree-lined and have comfortable seating. If you’d prefer to stay inside, the patios and waterfall alike can be viewed from the booths inside the club through a large glass door. Dancers add that extra touch of Las Vegas glamour, not that it’s needed in a club with standards this high.
If you’re willing to pay a bit more, you can gain access to the VIP area known as The Champagne Room. In here you will receive attentive service, and you may even bump into a celebrity or two. After all, Tryst is a favourite of both Hilton sisters and Justin Timberlake.
The club is open Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 p.m.-4:00 a.m.
