There are quite a lot of things to do at New York New York Hotel & Casino, starting with The Roller Coaster ride, spending a relaxing time at the Spa, or relaxing by the pool. And let’s not forget the shopping and the possibility to play golf.
The Roller Coaster
It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. You must be at least 52 inches tall without shoes to ride the Roller Coaster. Individual tickets cost $14. Special passes are also available.
The Roller Coaster lifts you up 203 feet, drops you down 144 feet and takes you through the property at speeds of 62 mph. All in all, it’s a very interesting experience which will leave you wanting to ride it again and again.
And for the couples seeking adventure, it is possible to get married in the Roller Coaster. Morning ceremony costs $600 and the evening ceremony costs $700. All you need to do is show up!
The Spa
It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and reservations are recommended. It offers separate facilities for men and women, including: locker, lounge, shower, steam room.
The Spa also comprises a fitness room, located on the 3rd floor near the Empire Elevator. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and the daily pass costs $20. Clients must be at least 18 years old.
The Spa offers nail services, massages, body treatments, facials, hydrotherapy and gentlemen’s packages. There are special spa packages available as well, including a couples’ package. Massages start at $75, body treatments at $120 and the facials at $70.
Regis Signature Salon
It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and offers hair styling and make up services.
The Pool
It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Clients can benefit from a lot of services while using the pool: food, beverage, towels, cabana rental and even massage.
Cabanas can be rented for $125 (Mon to Thu) or $175 (Fri to Sun). The VIP Pool Package costs $65 and includes 2 pool chairs, 2 raft rentals, 1 volleyball and a snack basket.
Shopping
When you cannot be in Manhattan for the ultimate shopping, you can try the other best thing: shop at New York New York Las Vegas.
Soho Village is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and comprises a variety of stores and brands such as Baby Phat, DKNY, Brighton, $10 Boutique and Crislu. You can find here everything from handbags, shoes to New York inspired gifts. Within Soho Village there’s Vegas Express which features children’s toys, apparel, gifts, souvenirs and many more.
Harley Davidson is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and offers T-shirts, accessories, souvenirs and even the possibility to take a test drive.
Mezzanine Shopping comprises three shops where you can purchase souvenirs and other merchandise which will remind you of New York. And you can even visit Houdini’s Magic Shop to get interesting collectibles or watch the free magic shows.
Essentials is open 24 hours a day and offers pretty much anything you need, from swim and leisure wear to souvenirs, magazines, snacks, beverages and beauty products.
