Riviera (or colloquially known as “the Riv”) is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. It was the shooting location for Oceans Eleven (1960) and is one of the oldest and most famous resorts on the Strip. Although there are quite a few shows to catch your attention, you won’t find any hot night clubs here. Still, considering the affordable accommodation prices, it’s worth it to spend your vacation here.
Riviera opened on April 20, 1955 as the first high-rise hotel on the Strip. It was also the ninth casino resort to open in Las Vegas. Over the years the resort was home to many famous shows and was also features in many movies. In 1999 it went through a major restoration process to offer a modern look for its guests.
Whether you like the classic topless reviews, want to attend a comedy show or enjoy some live music, Riviera has them all.
You can fill your days by checking out the games within the Arcade or spending a lovely, relaxing time at the Spa. And there are some interesting shops to check out as well.
