Spa, Beauty Salon & Health Club
The Spa at Harrah’s is a great place to be pampered and relax. The massages and aromatherapy treatments, along with the special facials will relax and rejuvenate your body.
The spa is located on the fourth floor of the Carnaval Tower and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations are required. Within the spa retail area there is a gym you can enjoy daily during the same hours.
A 25-minute Swedish massage starts at $65. The Express Combo Package (60 minutes) starts at $130. A classic European Facial (50 minutes) costs $100. You can also try the Salon services which include manicure (from $35), cuts (from $40) , makeup and up-do.
The Health Club comprises the fitness equipment, as well as a steam room, whirlpools or sauna.
The facility fee is $25 per day $10 after 5 p.m. for hotel guests of Harrah’s Las Vegas.
Shopping
You can shop in the Carnaval Court stores which carry anything from jewelry to crystal and collectibles. Or you can browse the stores located in the hotel. You can buy Harrah’s merchandise from the Jackpot, or get an interesting gift from Carnaval Wine & Spirits, which carries wine, liquor, beer and snacks.
The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is the place to be if you cannot help but indulge in chocolate daily and you need your cup of hot coffee to get your caffeine fix. The enticing aromas of chocolate and freshly brewed coffee will make you stick around and try other delicious desserts as well, such as shakes and ice-creams. Plus you can bring home some souvenirs.
Pool
The Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool is an excellent place to relax and soak up the sun. You can enjoy the lounge chairs or order a light meal and cocktail by the pool. The pool is open seasonally.
It is possible to rent cabanas by the day. Each cabana includes a refrigerator, TV, fruit basket, juice and water, a newspaper, towels and a raft.
Golf
Harrah’s Entertainment’s guests can use several golf courses located close to the Strip. Casacata Golf is the second golf course in Nevada and one of the top 100 modern courses in the States. Rio Secco Golf is known as the number one golf course in Nevada by Las Vegas PGA and is located just 12 min from the Strip. Butch Harmon School of Golf is a very popular golf school where you can learn to play or polish your skills (both indoor and outdoor). Las Vegas National Golf Club is located just 2 miles from the Strip and is a very affordable place to play.
