Right after the Winter Holidays end, Las Vegas doesn’t see so many tourists anymore. The low season begins although couples do consider Sin City as a Valentine’s Day getaway.
Winter weather in Las Vegas is cold with temperatures averaging 57F during the day. However, if you live in a cold climate, these are spring-like temperatures, so spending a day out walking on the Strip and checking out the attractions is a pleasant experience.
Getting there
During this time of the year flights to Las Vegas are affordable. You don’t need to worry about finding a seat but make sure to book a bit in advance to benefit from the lowest prices.
Where to stay
Winter is also the time when the Las Vegas hotels offer quite a lot of good bargains. Accommodation here ranges from very cheap to very expensive and if you are after a place which seems too expensive during the high season, now it’s time to do some additional research and benefit from the discounts.

Things to do
Las Vegas is a Mecca for shows. Any Cirque du Soleil show is a good choice for the first time traveler. But make sure to book your show tickets when you book the hotel reservation. Look for special packages as well. They typically include accommodation, show tickets and dinner.
Entertainment comes in many forms in Las Vegas. There are concerts, comedy shows, musicals and plenty other types of things to watch.
If you travel with the kids, you can easily spend an entire day checking out the many arcades and shows which are suitable for them. Thankfully, parents won’t get bored at the arcades either but the entire experience might get a bit costly.
If you don’t mind the rather cold weather, golfing is a great activity. Remember that it’s not a cheap sport and you should book the court in advance. Many hotels offer special golf packages.
