Bellagio Las Vegas is world famous for the fountains dancing to the music but there are a lot more things to do here than just watching the lights, music and water show. There are art galleries to check out, a botanical garden, golf course, spa, salon, shopping galleries and pools.
The Fountains at Bellagio are famous among tourists from all over the world. The water dances as part of a lights and music show. Each performance is unique. The show times are from Monday to Friday every ½ hour from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and every 15 min from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. During the weekends and holidays, there are shows every ½ hour from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and every 15 min from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
It is open for the general public, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and admission is free. Within the garden, each season is recreated with beautiful plans, trees and flowers. Gazebos, bridges, ponds and water features complete the scenery.
It comprises the finest examples of painting, sculpture and other impressive works of art from famous artists. 12 + 7: Artists and Architects of CityCenter is on view through April 2010 and features sculptures, drawings, paintings and models by 12 contemporary artists. General admission is $15. The gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Is located in the “O” Theater lobby and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. It features a collection of over 50 sculptures, drawings, serigraphs and lithographs by Richard MacDonald.
It is a good idea to pack lightly when you come to the Bellagio because once you hit the stores, chances are you are going to get quite a few items. Via Bellagio comprises signature stores such as Chanel, Dior, Gucci and Prada. Via Fiore, which outlines the Botanical Garden, comprises stores which offer garden-oriented gifts, Bellagio logo apparel and artworks. Along the Pool Promenade you’ll find stores with a variety of merchandise, from shoes and handbags to basic essentials.
The Spa at Bellagio offers a selection of therapeutic facial and body care treatments and a fitness center. Guests can choose among a variety of massages, world-famous therapies, facials, body treatments and hydrotherapy. The spa is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and reservations are required in advance.
The Fitness center comprises the latest equipment plus a wide variety of classes. Personal trainers are available to answer your questions and to create a personalized plan. It costs $25 to use the equipment in the Fitness center and if you prefer to attend classes, each costs $40.
Whether you need a fancy manicure or want to change your hair style, the experts at Bellagio are here to help. Hair services start at $85 (one-process color), a full set of acrylics costs $135 and the make up services start at $75. Men can use the barber services for prices starting at $40. The Salon is open daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and reservations are required in advance.
The Pools at Bellagio are open and heated year round. It can be used from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. There are five different pool courtyards. A pool bar and cabanas are available for the guests. All cabanas have private patio, TV, phone, wi-fi, fridge and fresh fruit plate.
The guests can play golf at Shadow Creek, a world famous course. Improve your performance among waterfalls, beautiful gardens and wandering creeks. The guests staying at Bellagio can also play golf at one of the partner golf courses: Bali Hai Golf Club – located right on the Strip -, Royal Links Golf Club – located less than a mile from Bellagio – and Desert Pines – just 15 min from the Strip. Reservations are required.
