For many people, a trip to Las Vegas is aligned with gambling, nightclubs and drinking. But among all the activities visitors partake in while visiting “Sin City” are several family-friendly activities that cater to the kids.
Excalibur Hotel and Casino has done an excellent job in ensuring that kids and adults alike enjoy their time in Las Vegas. At this resort, the fun things to do for kids include a dinner show, an arcade, carnival-style games and interactive rides. Our only tip: Make sure to set a spending limit before you enter the Fun Dungeon.
Tournament of Kings
Tournament of Kings is the most popular dinner show in Las Vegas, and that’s no surprise considering the action and adventure (not to mention the food) that guests get to enjoy during the show. You’ll be transported back to a time when Merlin used his powers, knights jousted and maidens sang. Kids and adults alike will be entranced by the fireworks, invading armies and jousting. The arena is broken up into several sections and each section cheers for its own knight while booing the others.
Though you can enjoy Tournament of Kings without the meal, the experience really is topped off by participating in the three-course, eat-with-your-hands meal.
Show times for Tournament of Kings are currently at 6:00 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday and at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The show is dark on Tuesday. General admission is $56.95 (plus taxes and fees) and includes a three-course meal. The show is suitable for all ages (kids under 3 years old may attend free of charge). Tickets for the dinnerless show are $44.00 (plus taxes and fees).
