Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino is known for its incredible array of dining options, but the fun doesn’t end with dinner. There’s no need to leave the resort to find hot nightlife, A-list headliners and places to chill until the early hours of the morning.
Mandalay Bay has four main venues. The Mandalay Bay Events Center is where you’ll find the short-run, big name concerts and sporting events at the resort. The House of Blues is a smaller, more intimate venue and also hosts several concerts every week, some of which are local bands, but many big names have shows here as well. Right now Disney’s The Lion King is settled in at the Mandalay Bay Theatre, which seats up to 1,600 spectators. Mandalay Beach, which is located in the 16-acre pool area, hosts a weekly concert series throughout the summer months.
Evening Call
Open from early afternoon until 4:00 a.m., Evening Call is casual place to hang out pre-dinner or pre-nightclub, though it also caters to the crowds draining from the nightclubs as well. Evening Call has an extensive frozen beverage bar, a full cocktail menu and a variety of bottled and draft beers.
eyecandy sound lounge & bar
eyecandy is a high-tech nightlife experience allowing guests to control the audio and video environment from the comfort of their booths. The bar is outfitted in a chic design with a contemporary dance floor and plush seating throughout. Open seven days a week, eyecandy always has a selection of DJs and VJs providing entertainment.
The eyecandy bar opens at 11:00 a.m. and the sound lounge opens at 6:00 p.m. daily. No cover charge.
Mix Lounge
Located on the 64th floor of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, Mix Lounge is known for its sophisticated yet hip appeal. A selection of the city’s hottest DJs spin every night of the week. the lounge
Seek out the lounge for its swanky and classy yet relaxed atmosphere. This isn’t the place to go if you want to dance all night. Rather, head for the lounge for a laid back evening sipping a cocktail in one of the bar’s plush chairs or challenge a friend to a game of pool. Many people like to finish an evening off with a visit to the lounge.
Orchid Lounge
Not a nightclub or lounge in the common sense, Orchid Lounge strives to meet the needs of those who need a little bite to eat or a quick pick-me-up in the middle of the night. Stop here for a pastry or cup of coffee. Located near Mandalay Bay’s hotel lobby.
