Luxor Las Vegas has four prominent shows playing at the moment. Like most of the features at this resort, none of them are particularly child friendly, but for adults in town on a couples getaway or a bachelor or bachelorette party, Luxor has you covered.
Carrot Top
Considered one of the best comedians in Las Vegas, Carrot Top has been packing in crowds since he took the stage in Sin City. Self-described as a culmination of George Carlin, Steven Wright and Gallagher, the wild red-headed comedian keeps audiences in stitches from the opening curtain to the final act.
Audience members must be 18 or older. Performances are on Wednesday through Monday at 8:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $49.95.
CRISS ANGEL: Believe by Cirque du Soleil
Illusionist Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil present a memorizing show that hovers somewhere between the land of the living and a surreal dimension. The history behind the name is just as interesting as the show. It is said that, on his death bed, Harry Houdini told his wife that many people would claim that they could speak to him and, to prove their claims are valid, they would say the code word “believe.”
The show may not suitable for audience under 12 years old as it contains mature language and material. Performances are at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with an additional 9:30 p.m. show on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Ticket prices start at $70.00.
Fantasy
Considered one of the hottest adult shows on the Las Vegas Strip, Fantasy is a seductive variety show of vocals, dancing and comedy. For more than ten years this topless revue has entertained audiences with a mix of adult-based banter and high-energy production standards. It is tasteful and fun, appropriate for couples or people on their own.
Audience members must be 18 or older. Fantasy shows nightly at 10:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $39.00.
Menopause The Musical
Menopause The Musical is a hilarious, uplifting production celebrating the changes women go through during menopause. The story follows four women as they parody popular music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Though designed with women in mind, men will appreciate this lighthearted, funny musical as well.
Audience members must be at least 14 years old. Show times are 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday. Ticket prices start at $49.95.
