The Venetian is a luxury hotel and casino, located on the east side of the Strip, between Harrah’s and the Palazzo. Although the Palazzo is marketed as a stand-alone resort, it is actually an extension of The Venetian Casino Resort and the Sands Expo complex.
The Venetian opened on May 3, 1999, and its extension, the Palazzo, opened on January 17, 2008 (official grand opening).
At the Palazzo there are 17 choices, offering a wide range of styles and cuisines. Some of them have Italian cuisine, but there are restaurants and cafes featuring American, Asian, Mexican and global cuisines.
