First Look: Barbie Suite at The Palms

TIME : 2016/2/25 16:08:31

barbiesuite01This could be the first times a Vegas resort has partnered with a toy manufacturer to redecorate a suite, but The Palms has just debuted the new Barbie Suite in its Fantasy Tower.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic toy, the resort has collaborated with Mattel on the suite as an homage to the blonde bombshell doll.

All I can say is if you stay here, you gotta really like pink. No, I’m serious…really, really gotta like pink. And this isn’t like a fuschia pink, but a bright bubblegum pink.

The color, while used as an “accent” shade to the main black and white decor of the suite, is everywhere, from the walls to the tables to the pillows. Very little remains untouched by pink in this suite.

Of course, images of Barbie are heavily featured, as well. Large portraits adorn the walls behind chairs swathed in Barbie-print fabric. A starburst mirror with 65 replications of the first ever Barbie serves as functional art.

Suite amentities beyond the decor include a full bar, plasma TVs, a two-way fireplace, iPod Hi-Fi sound system, a steam shower, jacuzzi tub and a queen bed in the master bedroom. There is also an adjoining suite, decorated sans Barbie, that features two extra queen beds.

The price tag for staying in the Barbie Suite starts at $4,000 a night.

What do you think of the new decor? Would you stay in the Barbie Suite? Check out these additional photos before you answer:
